Man this car was sweet. my freind told me about a saleen focus today so i had to check it out. oh man was it killer. 2.3L pzev, nitrous, turbo, 17 in wheels, saleen everything, momo seats, damn i gotta get a pic of that. and to top it off it was at luther family ford in fargo. holy shit i almost soiled myself when i saw it. wish i could only have it. or drive it.

The Saleen is nice. But its not turbo'd. Saleen tested turbo's and superchargers on the street with it during development, but decided to make it "nitrous ready" instead, to keep the cost of the car down.
"If you read through the list of Saleen modifications to the Focus’s 2.3-liter, all-aluminum, double-overhead-cam, 4-valve-per cylinder, 4-cylinder, you’ll find a Saleen performance air filter and a Saleen performance center exhaust system on the list. At the bottom of the list are the following three words: nitrous compatible elements. Basically this is shorthand for an engine that will come “nitrous ready” with everything you need to melt the front tires except for a full nitrous bottle, the main hose to the engine and a couple of jumpers to hook up the wiring."
