Hi, ya'll we saved 2 newborn kittens today. My husband heard a little cry 4rm the under this tree that fell during our stormy days, so we set up searching 4 them. I finally saw 2 little itty bitty paws and a little baby crying, an all white kitty and next 2 it a pitch black one. I immediately crouched down towards them and tried picking them up, but they were stuck, so I tugged and finally realized the poor things were still attached 2 the ambilical cord ! (do not worry I was tugging hard) And right next 2 them was the placenta wrapped around part of tree. So I screamed 2 my husband 2 get some scissors and I cut the ambilical cords, we took them and put them in this box we made that heats up. All afternoon I have been checking 2 see if the mom came and finally she did, and she had brought a 3rd one with her!!! I was so happy!!! So they will live. So relieved and happy. earlier in the morning we had discovered 4 more kittens behind the box, they r much bigger, but still babies, all pitch black. I'm sorry but 4 me this is like winning the lottery, 2 save a life and care for them. Sorry but wanted 2 share.
Right now it's pouring out there, if we had not gotten them, they would have drowned, because where we found them it's covered in water. So lucky. I am so happy, well gotta go see how they r.
we all have a littel kitten savin' in our hearts...even though the little bastards will grow up and terrorize you while your sleeping and use the dog as a jungle gym and climb all over the christmas tree and knock a bunch of glass ornaments that your parents have had since before you were a baby and then they'll poop all over the house even though they know where the little box is and...oh I'm sorry. Good going CKA! Way to bring a little goodness into the world!
Turns out she had 4!!!!! Woo hoo!!! Now I am even happier, so we have 8 total. The other 4 r fine, but the new 4 r the one's we r worried about more, being newborns and all. So awsome. Totally great weekend. And yeah, they terrorize a lot things, but those cute little faces make it so worthwhile, to accept the fact that they ruined something. I don't care they can ruin my tree all they want. So cute. Thanks u guys 4 understading. It is even greater 2 tell a story 2 great people that understand.
