The all new Ford Focus features a distinctive silhouette and sleek, contemporary looks with a fast, sporty rear design that really makes it stand out. Its lower stance adds to its sporting poise and dynamic attitude, with a stiffer chassis, wider track and a longer wheelbase for great cornering grip and predictable, rewarding handling.
The all new Ford Focus driving environment
The solid and reassuring nature of its driving environment clearly signals the driving quality of the all new Ford Focus. From the high-quality instrument panel to the centre console, the interior creates a ‘cockpit feel’ with the sense that the car is wrapped around its occupants. Sights, sounds and textures all play their part in delivering the new range’s interior refinements.
Poised for performance and driving quality
Driving quality has been a Focus trademark from the beginning. The all new Ford Focus extends that strength to encompass the entire driving experience. A longer wheelbase (by 25mm) and wider track (by 40mm) give the all new Ford Focus a sure-footed stance and an improved interior package. Control Blade rear suspension and a stiff, new front subframe are the foundation for chassis elements that have undergone extensive tuning. Drivers will appreciate enhancements in comfort that have been achieved in the all new Ford Focus without sacrificing its signature agility, stability and precise reaction to steering inputs.
Power and intelligence
The all new Ford Focus debuts Ford’s new 115 PS, 1.6-litre Duratec Ti-VCT engine – with twin independent variable camshaft technology – as part of a comprehensive powertrain line-up. The all new Ford Focus also offers advanced, Duratorq TDCi high-pressure common-rail diesel engines. The range features 1.6-litre (109 PS) and 2.0-litre (136 PS) Duratorq TDCi choices, which made their debut in the Focus C-MAX. In addition, Ford’s new Durashift CVT Continuously Variable Transmission is available on models powered by the 1.6-litre Duratorq TDCi engine.

Bluetooth® Hands Free Phones – wireless technology, allowing the connection of mobile telephones, personal digital assistants and laptops.
Voice Control Systems – hands-free command of audio, telephone, climate control and navigation systems.
Rear Seat Entertainment – MP3-enabled independent audio system available, with high-mounted screen for DVD or games consoles provided in the wagon.

Safety in focus
The Intelligent Protection System fitted to the all new Ford Focus provides advanced protection for all its occupants. Its network of sensors feeds impact information to a powerful processor that can select and activate the appropriate safety devices in milliseconds. With new 3-D airbags, curtain airbags and quick-acting seatbelt pretensioners all operating in precision synchronization, maximum safety is ensured.
I'm up in the air on this one. The performance of the RS is great, but the styling of the car reminds me too much of the last generation civic hatchback. Never liked the styling of that car, and I probably never will. Does anybod else see this resemblance? Or is it jut me? Just my two red cents, you don't have to listen.

Hmmm - I see a bit of what you're saying Mike - I'll also add it reminds me a bit of the VW Scirocco in the butt end too. hmmm....don't know if I like the edgy look yet.
Loving the Cos though!!!
Speaking of Cos - Caleb, where the hell are you?!

Joar, I didn't mean the cossie looks like a civic. I just see a strong resemblance from the rear 1/4 view of the car to the last gen. civic hatch. Look up a 96 civic hatchback and look at the rear 1/4 view of it. I hope you'll see the resemblance.
