Hey all. Just checkin in. School + work + no computer = no PFF on the boards. I got off school today (teacher was off) and came to the local public lab. I promise I'll try and check in more often! I hope all of you are doing well.

How am I? I'm OK thanks for aksing. I'm in my second semester of residential wiring class, still working at Shell (damn Shell). Sherri and I are doing well. Still broke like usual. We're gonna move back in with her parents the end of March (sarcastic "yay"). Her mom's sick and needs help, and it'll be cheaper for us so we might have some money. I recently got back from visiting my family in WI, that was nice. Mazda made it fine, even with it's problems. I'm working on starting a chapter of Redliners Auto Club here (I'm a member of the main chapter in WI).

How's the Mazda? Well... it's running. I've done a little more audio upgrading (bass tube, new wiring), put on a ground wire kit, NGK plugs... nothing worth noting. Found out my #1 cylinder has a major compression leak (seems someone torqued the plugs down in a hot head... bastards). When I get my taxes back (if I get a return- long story) I'll be dropping in a BP-DOHC (cousin to the ZETEC) and a new clutch in place of the current BP-SOHC. I also want to put on a new cat, I think mine's clogged. If there's any more money left I'll pick up a set of early-90's Escort rims and some sticky rubber for the summer. I might be getting a 1990(?) Escort GT donor car (has the motor, rims, other etc. parts I want) from a local dealer's "salvage lot".

How can we get ahold of you? Well that's just it... you really can't. I have my email ( JamesArens@mindless.com ) but I never really get to check it. I don't have a phone right now... I guess you could write me a letter? Like I said I'm going to try to make a round at least once a week since the lab is open Saturdays now.

Peace out, keep it real, and long live the Zetec!

-James

James, its so good to hear froom you.  You'll have to report back if you can get the mods done you were speaking of.  Id be interested in knowing how that all turns out.  At any rate, glad to see back on TF again, hope you can make it back again soon.
