Mcnabb wasn't ready for the super bowl.. he played nothing of the sort like he did last 2 games... The had very poor clock management near the end, no communication.. Just over all played like shit.. Could have took that game many times.. but it almost look like their defense was ready to quit.
I hate the pats.. everyone that likes them only does because they are the winning team lately.. have the people I talk to that try to claim the pats don't know shit about them. I personally can't stand them.. but they to played like shit.. it took to loong for their offense to generate some plays.. but they did one thing right, picked up on the blitz(es) fast and dealt with them accordingly.
Oh well, the game was alright.... I hate bang wagon jumpers.. don't claim a team that you know nothing about. I take football to the heart.
ps- I'm not an eagles fan, I just wanted to see them beat the useless pats... I'm a falcons fan.. I've meet all the players, hung out with them.. I know Micheal Vick and his brother... his mother lives about 20 minutes away from me. I've had dinner at their house several times with in the last 2 yeas(its good to know people in the right places). Also my grand mother works for them... well, use to until their spring training camp and hotel was sold when the owner died a few years back. His fucking kids sold out on the property like bitches they are. I've been a falcons fan since I started liking football and follow them season to season.

Let huh, from what I saw, Donovan McNabb spent more time on his back looking up at Vrabel and Bruschi than he did finding the better recievers. The Super Bowl is about more than playing the game, it's about keeping control of yourself, and the Eagles couldn't do it. They were nervous, scared, jittery, even with the "neutral" crowd cheering them on. They turned the ball over what 5 times, could have been 6 or 7. That's flat out bad football. McNabb wasn't finding the good recievers, and he certainly couldn't throw the ball. I'm not saying the Patriots were the best they've ever been. But luckily in most sports, you don't have to be the best, just better than the other guys.
And as for "Band Wagon Jumpers". I suppose you would lump every Yankee's fan into that category huh? I mean they've won alot, how about every Bulls fan from the 90's. That's a load of bullshit, I've watched the Patriots since I was in probably 5th grade, I went to Old Foxboro stadium and froze my balls off to watch them lose in overtime to the Dolphins. I can name most players from this years team, last years team and probably a good deal of players from up to 5 years back. Team Focus has a very large New England group so don't come in here, saying that all of us are "Band Wagon Jumpers". There might be some, but don't classify us all like that. And as for Vick, he's a punk, and all the Falcon's showed was that no matter what, one guy doesn't make a team, and one guy can't win the game.

I agree with Joe on that one... there is a skew in the # of NE people here so, chances are, if you like football, and are from NE, you probably are a Pats fan. I have been since i started wathing football with my Dad. I remember watching the '86 Superbowl against the Bears sittin on my fathers lap. I have been a fan forever... through goodtimes AND bad. Those who truely appricate the game dont jump back and fourth to whoever is good. Hell... i was a WHALERS fan... that should say something!!

Wait, all Pats fans are "Bandwagoneers". What about the fans that actually live in New England, and have been going to Pats games since they were a kid, sitting in the freezing cold bleachers at Foxboro, bundled up in 5 layers braving the arctic temps? Are we bandwagon fans too?
And if you take football to the heart, why would you have so much hate and disdain for a team just because people like the team? Or hate them because they win, consistantly? That sounds a little juvenile to me.
EDIT: Useless Pats? LMAO. That's definitely coming from someone who's either A.) Jealous, or B.) Lost, and can't accept it. And you claim to have met and "hung out" with the Falcons lol, so you "know" them, now this is somehow supposed to make a you a "better" fan? This is childish. I am actually laughing out loud reading this. Someone is always talkin' and tryin to wave a flag. Toot my horn.

Wow, look at all the shit remarks about what I said.
If you are a true pat fan then don't take what I said to heart. Others can. If you don't understand that tough shit.
And if you take football to the heart, why would you have so much hate and disdain for a team just because people like the team? Or hate them because they win, consistantly? That sounds a little juvenile to me.
All football fans have their hated teams.. don't tell me how to be myself.
And yes by knowing the players does make you a better fan.. helps you understand who they are as a person. If you don't think so then thats your opinion. Attacking my opinion and calling me childish for it is pathetic. Your the one being childish.
