As some of you know, there was a "large" g2g planned in Braintree tonight. Not so many showed but it was still a good time. Our friend Chris (sveer03) just had 18" Enkei rims put on his car Wednesday. We were following dan and Chelly down 93S right over the Mass border and SLAM! Nailed a pothole! Everything seemed fine.. no car wobble, no nothing realy... so we assume all is well. Get to Braintree...all is everything BUT well. Chris took a big ole digger to his rim... bent the lip hardcare, the rim itslef is in alright conditon.. but that lip.... ouch. I'm sure someone here can come up with a pic of it. ANNNNYWAYS...
Off to dinner after ragging on chris about his rims... Get some food, have some laughs.. rag on chris some more..... leave dinner, head to the cars, we decide we all need coffee for our rides back to NH or where ever we are going... first air for Chris' tire. Can't find Dunkins, so we say screw it and get on the highway... Managed t make it all the way back to NH with good luck, no potholes, etc.....
LAST but not LEAST..... screamin up 93N exit 1, Chris dumps it into 3rd I think it was and just flooooooors it!!! I look over at the speedo... 112......115.....117.....120.... and climbing... we reach the crest of the high and OH SHIT!! Blue LIGHTS!!!! The front bumper was probably nearly dragging on t he ground... the cop already had someone, but we bailed off the highway and caled it a night...
Needless to say, after nearly two hours, we made it home... what a night. Thank you TF for always giving me someone to laugh at ( We still love you Chris, you give a good rim job, remember? )

Damn I missed this. Crap next time. Sorry I could not make it. I was rather tied up earlier tonite. Um, I had a date. Tell ya's at the next G2G.
