Thank you. I'm lucky to have 2 great kids, Jay -36 and Elizabeth - 33. I'm also lucky to live near enough to both of them to see them, and my 5 grandchildren often.

What a great day! Went and bought a lawnmower. Yup, one of those manual push types. Did my lawn and then went over and started doing the park. Couple of neighbours joined me. Then a couple decided to go buy their own. Of course someone complained about a bunch of old guys using "antique" lawnmowers in the park. Cop came by and I just asked him if he had any children. He said yes and I asked him how his children would respond if he got busted for mowing the lawn quietly instead of letting the city do it with their loud obnoxious machines? He just looked back, said "I was never here" and left. Damn I'm tired. Feel great.

Yeah, I punched a baby once, in anger. But in my defense the baby was being kind of a dick.

Think "Lawyers".
The city could be held liable in certain circumstances.
Anyway, it was fun and I haven't been this tired in a long time. There are sore muscles this morning that I didn't know were there.

Yes. Funny how just going and doing something on a whim can start something completely unforeseen.

My dad got up and cooked on the grill! He loves to cook, so it's an act of futility to try and make him anything. I've tried, even though I am an excellent cook...he always beats me to it!
love the lawnmower thing! What an excellent idea!!!
There is this house in probate right now, accross from my parents it looks like a hay field. I just want to go cut the lawn! No one is allowed on the property and the heat was off all winter, so you can imagine what mess this place has to be!
Anyway...love the lawnmowing!
