I would like to know what you end up putting in there in the way of Amsoil and what Amsoil filter you use.  Im kinda curious as to how all that works out.  I would be PARTICULARLY interested in an oil anlaysis, to the point I would probably pay for it just to see how that puppy wears.

Megga ditto here on that stuff!

Congrats on your new car - you'll have to keep in touch!

Just curious, of the hybrids, why did you chose the Prius?

im choosing the prius because it is decent looking(honda insight is UGLY, and barely better mileage), the overall quality is nicer, the interior is VERY nice, and of course it is probably the most powerful hybrid(compared to civic and insight)...I only test drive it so far and didnt floor it but i would say its more powerful than a stock zx3 :) Going to put my car for sale in auto trader this week, hope to get 6-7k :)

Please let us know what you actually get for mileage on the Prius. When I checked in to it the fuel consumption was much better in stop and go city driving but was actually worse on the highway.

Yeah it gets better City due to the regenerative braking.. interesting concept.

Good luck with the Prius, I think they look pretty decent... way better than Insight, and the newer Gen Prii (?);) look better than the original ones, IMO.

If you get a chance, ask him if they will ever bring back the Land Cruiser with a diesel. The one that we had was a phenomenally reliable vehicle. Wish that we'd kept it.:(
