Additional useless info.
If the population of China marched east, three abreast, in standard march step, it would take just under one thousand years for them to build a bridge of bones 10 metres above the surface of the Pacific Ocean that would reach North America. Yup, someone actually figured this out. It was just so odd that someone would make those calculations that I've remembered it for 30 years.
