It took me a while too, one of the things I came to realize during my five years I basically withdrew from participating in society.
Ive had people ask me if I regret the marriage and that time in my life. My response is no. I learned a great deal, not only about why the marriage failed, but about myself that I still apply in my life today. Looking back on it, I wouldnt want to go through it again but I also realize the value of what I learned because of it.
