I organized a clean-up a few months back. Needed to clean up the access road to one of the best local fishin' spots in the area. This place was BLOWN IN HALF with refuse. You can see "before" pics of the place on the 3rd page of this thread...

http://stripers247.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1950

We had it all out there.....sofas N love seats, recliners, mattresses, a pile of some weird batteries, deer carcasses, 50 tires, refrigerators, air conditioners, lumber N fencing, etc etc etc. Plus bags N bags of the lite litter...cans, bottles, plastics, styrofoam, etc....

We only had 12 people total, including me, and we still managed to kick tha places ass by the 3 oclock....all done. Just goes to show ya what 12 good people can do in about 5 hours. It rained, some people didnt show, but we still made the place look totally different. I will get some "after" pics this week sometime.

We made the front page of the paper today, you can read the article and see a pic here...
http://www.seacoastonline.com/news/04252005/news/38938.htm

There will also be a multi-part story on this situation in the Atlantic News, starting this week. So if yur in the area, keep an eye out for that too :)

P.S. We only had 4 pickups hauling the stuff to the Transfer Station, each truck made 6 to 7 trips a piece, for a total of 6000 pounds of crap! lol

Way to go!;up

Hey, where are you with that job you wanted? All I remember is that it was something like a game warden or the Dept. of Natural Resources.

Wow that's awesome!!

Although not quite as large an area, I plan on tackling my garage starting May 15th. It's a 2.5 car capacity and right now couldn't squeeze in a MINI. By summer's end it'll be magazine worthy I hope (are there garage mags?)

Congrats on all your hard work, must've been very gratifying to see the results of your labor!:clap

Thanks guys :) Yes it was great to drive down the trail and see all tha mounds of crap GONE. It was great that my older brother, Donny Bolt, came with his 2 sons who are 9 and 12, to help out. We've all grown up fishin out there over the years, and hopefully it will still be accessible for the kids when they grow up.

Chelly, G2G at the Trestle, Friday July 1st....b-day party for me :) Everyone is invited.

I'll make some TF G2G's this season!

I'm a pantspooper, I shoulda atleast let you guys now bout it. I was a bitch not only getting it all organized, but keeping it organized was even worse lol.

BTW, when we were done, we all met at the top of the trail in the dirt lot so a few of the guys could have a well deserved coldie, and next thing you know, I see this black SVTf pulling in lol. It was Budrick Wenniz! Jay and I almost shat lol.

Seriously, if you guys like hot summer nights on the water, you gotta go. I'd love to see you guys there :) Plus, I just got a HUGE bag of fireworks fa free....so we gut plenty of firepower!
