The idea is to create a library of UOA's (used oil analysis) and to at some point eventually get a VOA (virgin oil analysis) library going, but for now I'll deal with the uoa.
I guess I need some help, ideas, suggestions, whatever. I would like for the visitor to be able to fill out the form and just submit it and have it categorized, linked and so forth, pretty much automated, but I dont have the programming know how to do that. So probably what I need to do in the interm is to have a form that the visitor can download, fill out, then email to me and I can transfer that to a web form. Yeah, I know, I know, the long way around but hey, sometimes you gotta take what you know you can make work.
The problem is that I dont know what to use for that. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro, so I could use that and may be more universal. I could use Excel, but again I want to set this up so that the visitor can look for specific uoa's. For instance, the visitor has a Ford Focus, I would like for them to be able to pull up all available uoa's for the Ford Focus.
What Im going to have to work out is how to identify the vehicles so that if one person submits repeated uoa's for the same vehicle the visitor can see those and know that its the same vehicle, just uoa's that have been taken over time.
Anyway, if you have questions let me know. If you have any idea's or suggestions Im definately interested in that. I would like to use PHP, but 1.) Im not well versed in that, 2.) I only have one MySQL database available and Im going to need that for the ecommerce.
