OK so the other night i got stoped for everything Window tint, exhaust etc... i live in maine and the law is it has to be under 95 decibel i have a test next wed to get a rating and i was just wondering if anyone has a focus with just and intake and a magnaflow exhaust system on it?? also if U have had it tested what did it come out as? was it under 95 decibel or am i just gonna be wasting my time going to that test???
If anyone Has had it tested please let me know asap what the decibel rating was!!!

i live in maine also....Igot a mbrp exhaust and mines gotta be louder cause i have an hi flo cat. cat back and my shit is lod...he SHOULDNT have given a ticket cause he didnt have a decibel meter.......I hate Bath and brunswick...bunch of flicksticks. I can wait to move.

Wow that's crazy! I have the magnaflow, before I put the FC Race header on I didn't think it was loud at all. Try it with a race header. LOL Then they have something to bitch about.
I don't think you'll have a problem. From what I've seen on the FJ exhaust shoot-out, the Magnaflow isn't very loud. About 60dB at idle and between 80-85 at higher RPM.
In comparison my MBRP supposedly nips 92dB at 3K though I've never had any problems with mine.
Yeah the cop is an ass!!!! but does anyone know like what rpm they test it at some guy was trying to tell me that they take the horse power and the max rpm and subtract a 3rd of it or somthing i didint understand it...
so in all this confusion jumble talking im asking what rpm do they tes the focus at on a exhaust test if anyone knows lol!!!
you shouldnt have a problem. ive driven by all sorts of cops with my magnaflow and aem cai and fc tb, its loud, but nice lud, nice ricey loud, sounds just right and doesnt drive a lot of attention to the car, even with all 7 windows tinted
