I'm goin to be a Conservation Officer (Game Warden) and work for the NH Fish & Game. It'll take a bit of work, and some time, but after seeing what I saw last week and today, it's really hit home. It's a calling, and I need to use my honor to protect the wildlife and environment around my area. My dream would to be a Conservation Officer in my hometown, and primarily focus on the fish, but I know that cant happen. I'll be forced to take a position where ever I am needed. But maybe I'll get lucky.
Essentially, I will be a State Trooper in a Fish & Game uniform. I will be able apprehend and arrest those who violate the fish & game laws.
I want to do this more than anything in my entire life. I really hope I can do it. I will be the best and most honorable C.O. this State has ever seen. People who like their jobs, and like what the job entails, are more likely to do it well. And that I will.
Good thinkin there Jonny. Good luck and Congrats on finding your calling
I think that you will kick ass at that... something you love... and you are kinda scary... that will help

Such a profound epiphany! I'm so happy that you've found something that has grabbed you!
I've known a few ppl. in Maine who are "Park Rangers" and they love their job. There are the beginning points which can be a little less glamorous than the "dream" job. You'll do well, I'm sure of it!
Just be as passionate as you are about fishing and we'll be able to come visit you and go camping where you're "patrolling"!
Best of luck man and keep us posted!

Have to start by redoing another FAFSA and getting enrolled in school. Gotta take some law enforcement/criminal justice and conservation classes. It's going to take alot of work, but I really would be better off getting my act together by taking ont his career because the computer thing is just to on and off for me. I can make killer money doing what I do now, but I am just not a salesman, never have been, and I dont like trying to sell my abilities to people in order to get the work/contract. I also have never liked being the guy who asks for the money/payment. It's just not me. As much as I know about computers & networking, I can always just use that as Plan B, and do it on the side. I was supposed to move out again June 1st, and couldnt because my hours just disappeared again. I cant live like this. I need a stable career.
Plus, I think my friend Jay said it well......people (in general) get on my nerves anyway, and I'm always bitching about some punks stealing fish, or some jerk off littering, or drunk going to fast under a bridge in his boat. IT SAYS NO WAKE GODDAMN IT!!! lol
I'm really going to put a whooping on a donkeys behind.
Awwwwww, we could be study partners! Idn't that sweet.
the job sounds perfect for ya. Hey tell me if you find a school with a bachelor's in criminal justice degree. I need some help getting out of this god for saken place.
Good on you. Far too many people around doing things that they are not happy at and are therefore doing it half-assed. Life is too short to waste any of it.
Go for it.
