I thought I would stop in and say hello to everyone. Me and Jennifer are laying back here in the sunshine state, taking over, LOL.
We went to Daytona yesterday and had some fun there. Jennifer went to Orlando the day before and took in a day of shopping with my mom and sisters. Not a whole lot going on right now just enjoying the day watching the storms pop up then die down. Boiled some peanuts, yummmmmmm.
The Grand Prix did great coming down. I was over 28 mpg on the trip down and it was still improving. I ran an engine cleaner through it for the trip down that cleans things out and helps mileage a little. Im still on petroleum oil and getting 28mpg so when I get back and can put the thing on its diet of Amsoil I would think I could be at or near 30 mpg. The trip computer was indicating I could go around 575 miles on a tank, and my last stop for gas getting here I had 470 miles on the tank and the gas gauge needle was in the middle of the 1/4 tank mark and 1/2 tank mark so I see no reason why I shouldnt get at least 550 miles on a tank which is a fair amount of distance.
Anyway, I thought I would check in and say hello from sunny and a little rainy Florida. You all take care now, ya hear.

It probably means that he actually boiled some peanuts. In my opionion they are disgusting but whatever flirts your skirt. There are peanut boiling places all over the place down here.
Hopefully you didn't get rained on too bad. Have a good time
Well Im back. To spin off Chelly's post, 8 states, 4500 miles and 9 days later, Im back in one piece, married now, but in one piece, LOL.
I had an absolute blast and I still got two weeks of vacation left. The Grand Prix was an absolute dream and blast to drive. Got to take it crusin' down Daytona and it visited more shopping places than I care to remember at this point. I actually lost the thing for a while at Daytona believe it or not. Once we parked and went to enjoy the beach I couldnt find the dang car for about 45 minutes. Talk about loosing it, I was some kinda of freakin' out thinking it had been stolen.
Florida was warm but those dang pop corn storms kept throwing a wrench in things, but that is okay too. Well it was until I went and washed the car and pulled out of the car was and it literally started raining, talk about mad.
Jennifer got a good dose of Florida and even talked about moving there, go figure. Though I dont see why, I swear she brought half of Florida back with her. There was literally not one square inch of space left in that car. The trunk, the back seats, everything was occupied with all her spoils.
Me, I got a very antique sword and 4 gallons of boiled peanuts. If the fruit had been in season I think I would have had to rent a U-haul or something. We picked up a new microwave, more redecorating stuff than I ever thought I would see in one lifetime, kitchen stuff among other things. I dont know what the load carrying capability is of the Grand Prix, but Im pretty sure we were close to maxing it out.
I wish I had been able to get around and see some of you, but my internet access was next to nothing and I was only able to make one post while down there. Im going to try and make another trip, just me this time, sometime in the near future and I can hopefully at that poing hook up with some of ya down there.
Anyway, after 25 hours of driving, really, 25 hours. 27 hours total, but I stopped and power napped for two hours, the rest of the time was driving the 1280 miles to get back, but after all that Im a little exhausted and Im going to turn in and get some rest.
