My last tank was about 24mpg and took stightly over a week to use.... I'm guessing the one before it was close to 25mpg probably the same tho.

All city driving. About 240 miles untill the light came on. I also was running a kinda test and shifted at 2000 rpm. It occasionaly went above 2000 and on my little 2-3 mile stretch of highway (about 15 miles total in the weekk)it would go to 3000 or slightly over. I also tried to take fairly slow take off but still beat traffic at the lights even shifting at 2000rpm. I also kinda gave up the 2000rpm bet in the last 50miles or so of the tank because I noticed I wasn't doing any better than driving normal.

I count on at least 600km between fills. That works out to about 7.5 litres per 100km. Ok, so that works out to about 36miles per imperial gallon which works out to about 32 miles per US gallon.
I run it between 2500 and 4500 rpm most of the time. Highway cruise is at 3250-3500 RPM.

2002 ZX5 Manual tranny.

That's about what I normally get. In the winter, when they change the gas to include different additives, it goes to 29-31.

Lately I have been in the 30-32MPG range... shifting at close to 4k (estimated from my occiasonal pseudo-tach runs).

Before I put the FI cleaner in my car that Chelly gave me... like 25-26MPG.

Both these are city/highway averages.

Hey, significant improvement there J! looks like your injectors were clogged. Nice to see the improvement.

I guess I avg. 30+ each tank pending my driving.  when I keep my hwy RPMs down under 3k I do really well.  the 2.3 tends to run 80mph if I'm @ 3k, so I don't do that.

This ought to make you feel a bit off. I just came across a postcard that I wrote some notes on during my trip to Switzerland.
514 Km, 30.7 litres. = 5.9 litres/100Km which is about 46 miles per US Gallon. ......... That was in the Focus TDCi......
3 people + luggage and we were moving!
