Just a thread for everyone to give an update on their cars. We don't talk enough about our cars. Especially when nothing's new :)

PFF2 is still waiting on a few things before she can hit the road. After I get it registered and driving, I'll start modding in my usual fashion. I need to get off my ass and make my intake, maybe a few extras. Hopefully after Christmas I'll be able to afford my motor mount and keys. Anyone know where I can get a 12v time-delay relay? I want to hook one up to the airbag dash light so it will appear like I still have bags. Maybe I'll just cut the wire to the light.

The Mazda is just getting beat on every day. I smell burning oil from my again-leaking valve cover. Damn thing. I really aught to get off my ass and fix it.

The '68 Dodge needs an oil pump (I think) because for some odd reason it's not getting oil pressure. It's put away for the winter. I'll fix it come spring.

My wife's Geo gets a new battery tonight (yay). The old one started leaking (?) and corroded the hell out of the battery terminals. So I had to replace them and the battery. Fun.

Well that's all folks.

yeah, the 00 sedan se is almost back to stock. decided since i have the toy i need this one for my everyday car and no sense in dumping mods and money into it.
the toy (which by the way is ride of the month:D) is my money pit. but shes laid up in the garage right now due to a bent rim (thats a full set since spring) and its not getting replaced anytime soon. but do need to get my pesky valve cover gasket and a couple other things ive had around for it done.
thinking its about time to clean it up and store it for the winter

since fundage is seriously at the bottom of the barrel since ive not worked for 3 months due to  shoulder surgery and nose surgery.

From the looks of it I will be driving my car through the winter. First full winter it will see sence I bought it. Sence Jan 2001 my car has seen 2 maybe 3 snowy days of driving. My winter rig just came across another snag and it looks as if I will be replacing the motor and I might rebuild the original but probably not. And unless I find some money soon mt car will be hitting the snow on summer tires (fun, fun). My BFG Gforce Sports. And we'r supposed to have a really bad winter this year.....

Since 5/3/05 (pickup date), I have put 12,300 +/- miles on it.  I might be doign the AUX jack mod so I can get some MP3s or Sattelite radio in the focus.  Otherwise, the passenger seat is absolutely covered in dog hair thanks to Winston.

... oh, and thanks to Winston, there's a tiny dook nugget stuck between the seat and plastic trim on the driver's side that I couldn't get from his first accident in my car.  Luckily it don't smell, but next summer I'm gonna go in there and get rid of that for peace of mind.

Rear bumper and fender both got fixed, so the car is looking fairly new again (well, with the exception of a LONG OVERDUE washing).  The woman that hit me in the rear gave me 350 to fix up my car.  I spent a total of 50 bucks getting it fixed.  Yeah, can we say profit?

Other than that, its just your normal commuter car.

Like the 2nd week Brian and I had him, I was taking him home one night from his g/f's, because Brian was working.  I had to stop off at DD's and relieve myself.  I wasn't even gone 1 minute and the dog managed to shit in the back seat (the seat was folded down).  Took me 3 hours to clean it out, and it was probably the most raunchiest thing I have ever smelled from any animal.

I'm just glad now that he's 20+/- weeks old, he knows that he has to come get Brian or I to take him out.  That and the fact that he passes out when he's riding with me :D

Well, My girl is still basically stock.

I was able to put the aluminum bezel in on the guage cluster - clear tails of course.

Next = New Snow shoes and 15" Couger rims (Thank you Dan for the gift).  I'm putting some Nokian RSi's on these for good measure because of last winter's mess. ***BTW - Dan, you can use my stock 16's for winter with the All Seasons IF we have to run your car, which I don't think we'll have to.

My Chrome Hatch Strip still is not on, but going to be put on
Stock Euro tails, still not on, don't know when they're going on - no news from our resident electrician here in TFNE. *** hint hint Bill

Other than that, nothing happening to the stocker until I pull the funds together for the Dual Bypass system - That may not happen until tax time.

I forgot to add:

I was considering doing some work to my car (foglights, audio system, euro tails, clear lenses, possibly rims) and just make it look nice, but school is about to own my wallet in some severe ways in a couple weeks.  I still have to talk to my mother about whats gonna go down for christmas.

For now, its the AUX jack, probably some sort of satellite, and maybe some aftermarket PIAA fogs.

Sooooo, when's the next TFNE meet? I'm jonesing for some of that lasagna :D

Not driving it as much as I used to. The VW TDi gets the majority of the miles. I still take the Focus out on weekends or just when the VW gets too boring. The Focus can run circles around the VW.
Focus is filthy, needs a full in and out detail. I was out in it this morning and the car still impresses me after all these miles. Somehow I just don't see myself ever getting rid of it. It's paid for, it's fun to drive and now that it's a secondary vehicle the insurance is really cheap. Despite the bearing issues and a couple of other little annoyances it's been a great car and I still like the looks of it.
There are still boxes of parts that I've just not had the time to install. Perhaps I'll just drop the car and the boxes off at the shop and get it all done sometime this winter.

I know what you mean about dirty. Mine has been neglected lately. Sunday I detailed the interior. I did it mostly because I was afraid I might catch something if I didn't.  :D

If anything, there's more bulldog hair across my dashboard, on top of covering the back seats, as well as the passenger seat.  Its probably a good thing I don't regularly transport people around.

Also, doubly good thing that I am not allergic to Winston.  That would hella suck for me hardcore.

I hear ya there. I can't wait to fire up the Zetec for the first time since November of 2003. Damn. 2 years since I lost PFF1 and now I'm just aching to get PFF2 started.

OH I figured out what I'll do with the airbag light... I'm gonna hook it up so it turns on when the nitrous is armed!

Well other than the fact that Grover was in an accident and then in surgery for two weeks...I'm gonna have to wait till it gets paid off before I do anything to it. But it will be simple stuff like window tinting and changing the headlamps (maybe) but other than that I have no idea what I am gonna do.

Oh yeah and the breaks and oil need changing.

i rolled my focus the saturday before last. wasn't the happest of moments. i bought it in 2000 just a month after they came out. first car i bought new and on my own. had some good times in it. went to two burningmans, had some great sex, drove some hard roads. but now its gone. i had a seizure blacked out drove straight through a corner hit a embankment at 40 mph and rolled it. so thats the end of that zx3. but i came out ok none else was involved so its ok. i plan on getting another zx3 problem is i dont like the front end of the new ones as much as my 2000. so ill have to figure that out. otherwise thats my focus crushed.

streak - sorry to hear that. As far as a repalcement look for an 04 2.3L Pezev. You won't be disapointed and it will make your 2000 seem like a dog... :D

I just drove through snow and slush on my BFG's. Did 30-40 the whole way down the interstate and did 20 on some of the hills due to lack of traction.... Ya I wasn't a happy camper and peopel kept pulling infront of me and cutting me off. I was pissed about that also maily do to the fact that I was basicly driving with no brakes due to no traction. I did it tho and its up for the winter. Hopefully my truck will be ready in 2 weeks, it needs frame work(welding).
