I'm such a nerd, I'm really excited. My mom is going to be getting a Focus kinda soon... probably April. She's got this beautiful 04 Escape we all love, but it's a lease. And her commute is 110 miles a day... soooo it's either pay out the nose NEXT March when the car will be well over 97500 (it's almost 70k already) or pay for a used Focus and daily drive that. Also the Scape is a V6 and its mileage isn't as good as the Focus gets. Either one would be an auto, since she drove a clutch Escape for this commute and it just drives her crazy based on the traffic pattern.
She's stolen my car a couple times before to run errands or go to work, and she loves it, so her and my stepdad were going out the carshow this morning, and discussing the idea of a DD car when a Focus whizzed by... it was a sign!
I'll probably go with them for it in April when I'm home, she wants a 2-3 year old, and they're forever on sale around here so it shouldn't be hard. But being the family Focus expert, I think they want me there to help. This is so cool, I've been nudging both of them to get a Focus since 2003 and now it's gonna happen! Probably be a Duratec too, since it falls within the age range... I'll push her towards that at least
