I know I have not posted since last year and I am bad. I love TF and everyone in it. Specially Chelly.
But since last year, my dad has been from hospital to hospital and I have been working, then hospital. And making calls to doctors, pharmacy, insurance and stuff. He has been on and off from home.
We got to take care of him and it was fun. We hope he comes home soon. But Saturday, since the insurance is no longer covering the place he is at, well he is going to some nursing. Ugh.
My dad, he has ALS, Lou Gherigh’s and it has been going on for 11 years.
Last November, right after Thanksgiving, he ate his last meal and spoke for the last time. Right after Thanksgiving, the next morning, I called 911. He went to the hospital for 2 months. He got a G Tube (feeding tube) , he could no longer swallow. Then complications came about when he was having a procedure done, he couldn’t breathe. So he got a trach done.
Then was in ICU for 2 weeks.
Then come to find out, my mom freaked and he could have come home, but she said no. And he went to some nursing home.
Where he got sores, bedsores. And that was bad. They neglected him so much. So then insurance came in and said he must come home, but because it was too much money. Not because of his well-being.
So he came home, but only for a month and then back to ER. It’s been the same cycle since.
And now finally at a great place, and they are doing so well with him, I mean he is off the oxygen and breathing well.
And the sorea are looking great. But now he is leaving Saturday.
But he has been happy, but we want him home again.
So yeah, I do post at FF only though and I’m sorry. I should post here too. But I barely have time to post there and well you guys know how it gets.
Plus, work became tight, with new people here.
And I know the psycho still watches me on forums. Chelly remembers the psycho. lol

And ps Candy is coming along great. Currently her hood is getting worked on, fenders are done.
I got a new spindle, just gotta buy some tie rods, control arm etc.
hey honey, nice to hear from you! you've been sorely missed here! I knew you were dealing w/ a lot and it's understandable that you've not been online here. TF is really the only place I post anymore...I used to be very active in MFF (until the crash) and even in FJ and a few others.
Life moves on and the world turns, so loads of things have to be dealt with.
I am sorry about the issues you've been dealing w/ surrounding your father and I am shocked that there isn't more help for him out there. I know i've dealt with kidney failure & disease for over 26 years now. Illnesses like this can be devistating. hang in there lady & thank you for the kind words...I do appreciate them
My best wishes to your Dan, you and everyone over there and hopefully I'll get a chance to get out Chicago way again and we can meet for drinks or something. I like it there & I have a cousin who lives not far either, so I could visit a few ppl.
Keep your spirits up and keep us in your thoughts...we'd love to see new pics once the work is done. My car is still basically stock, so nothing new here.

Now my mom is having a knee replacement on July 25th. so yeah and then dad was ok, then he got pneumonia, still kinda has it, with another infection. He is up and down. And sleeping ALL the time. So yeah. I still go see him every day. But I miss him and miss him smile.
So, yeah, but good news I got a raise at work and Candy will be done soon. Yeah yeah been saying that for almost 3 years now......but this time FOR SURE!
Sorry to hear about all the stuff going on with your dad carmen, when things settle down I'm sure you be back to you normal posting. I know what you mean about not having time for all the foci sites. I use to spend a lot of time on FF, but the most of people that posted when I was there moved on and a whole new crowd took over. I think I enjoy posting on the smaller sites more. Here and Focusmotorsports.com is were I spend my time now.

Yeah, but specially the FR section pulls me, our little car club. The group is great and we hang out even outside of g2g's. So yeah.
