I thought I would put up some new pics of my ride so you can see whats been done to the exterior along with few other pics.
Here is the front. Painted the grilles and added the decals
Here is the Amsoil dual remote by-pass oil filter system. Not the best picture, but you can see it is there. Complete with EaO15 and EaOBP90.
Next, the GM external transmission fluid cooler. In line or in series with the one in the radiator. Why manufacturers want to put a fluid cooler in the radiator is beyond me. HELLO!! the fluid is going to be exposed to no less than the temp of the coolant, duhhhhh!
The external one I installed dropped temps some 25 degrees. I did a before and after scan and I was running 200 - 205 degrees pretty consistently before installing the external cooler. After I was running about 185 degrees. It never went over 190 under some hard driving, up and down hills and some triple digit speed runs, so its doing its job just fine. Its directly benind the drivers side grille and extends down to the lower air dam opening.

Now, the other side
A different angle
My own design and creation. Head rest wraps, one for each seat. Modeled after the exterior door emblem.
Loud and proud windshield decal
Another design and creation by myself, door handle wraps
Of course, I have to let everyone know that wants to look under the hood
Finally, my 4" intake that is reduced down to about 3" at the throttle body for some air acceleration to feed the beautifully sounding supercharger. My car is the only whinner I like. I need to debage I think cause the ricers around here wont give me the time of day. I even tried to egg on a Scion Tc and he didnt want to play.

It whines a lot, but I like it
It is an Amsoil TS-191, 2-Stage Foam Air filter. Originally made for the Mustang GT. I 'adapted' it for my Focus when I had that so I wouldnt be forced to use a friggin' K&N filter. When I traded it it, I took off the Amsoil Filter and put on a K&N that had come with my air intake
It is washable. It has two layers of foam. The outside later is coarse to trap the larger debris. It is removable. The second layer bonded to the filter cage is a finer foam and traps the much smaller dirt and debris.
I dont know if Amsoil is making these any longer because the revamped their air filter line up. As well Amsoil now offers K&N style filters using there nanotech filter technology.
Their new filter technology is nearly 100% efficient at 2 microns. That is an amazingly good filter. Consider that most wear in a motor is caused by particles in the area of 6 -10 micons in size. Just to give you an idea of how small that is, if you were to grab a clear drinking glass, the fingerprint you would leave on the glass is about 6 microns high.
The idea is that if you can stop the dirt at the air filter you can greatly reduce your engine wear. Id almost guarantee that 2 microns is on par if not better than a paper filter and Amsoil's is cleanable and good for 4yrs/100,000 miles. No paper filter I know of can say that. And the Amsoil filter flows GOBS more air than a paper filter and is almost on par with the air flow of the Foam Air filter.
As soon as I get my next oil analysis back I'll probably order the Nanotech air filter and slap it on there and run it instead. Plus Im going to redesign the intake system to push the filter into the Fenderwell. To the right of the filter is an opening into the fenderwell area that has enough room to house a cone air filter. That will allow me to completely isolate the air filer from the engine bay. I have seen tests run that have dropped IAT's as much as 20 degrees from doing so and you can either buy a pre-made one, at a hefty price I might add, or you can make one easily enough.
Anyway, thats the scoop on the filter. Probably more than you wanted, but hey, now you know.
