I ordered my ZZP PCM late last week and it arrived today, so as soon as I got home from work I got busy getting it installed. I wasnt hard at all to install and they sent the connector with the PCM so I could install and activate performance shift which was easy to do as well.

I ordered this mainly for two reasons. First the performance shift and the increased line pressure to help reduce wear on the tranny and of course the fun factor. Second for the lowered fan turn on and fan run after the engine is turned off.

Of course there are a host of other things done that just make the car an absolute blast. Once I took it out for a test drive I immediately realized how annoying the skip shifts and downshift lag were now that they were gone. You hit the throttle and it shifts and goes, I LOVE IT!

I had forgot about the 6k shift points and when I first hit it and it didnt shift where I expected it nearly scared me silly and I almost backed out, but when that sucker hit, WOW! With the shift kit installed that sucker hits and you better be hangin' on cause you're goin' for a ride.

It addresses some issues (electronic ones) with the heavy duty transmission and as soon as I can hook up the scan tool I will see if they are taken care of, though it seems they are after the test drive.

All in all, Im impressed, the car definately has more wow factor and more of a thrill to drive.  As I was heading home, at the intersection before my turn a teeny bopper was next to me in a toyota, a camary I think it was with his music just a thumpin, half slouched in his seat cocked over to one side.  If I hadnt known better I would have asked if he needed medical attention.  Anyway, the light turns green and he hits it.  Well I say okay and hit it as well.  That sucker launches, boost maxes out, and well, lets just say he wont be going to his friends and braggin about any kills on a GTP

There is a stop light after the intersection that is roughly a 1/4 mile away, if that far, and by the time I got there I was easily two maybe three car lengths ahead of him and I backed out shortly after it shifted to second.

The bonus of all this; even with all that hard driving my temps never went above 190*.  I truly cannot wait to take this thing to the track.

Eighty bucks for that kind of fun factor is money well spent and I will smile about it every time Im in the car.

When I got home I told my wife it was like I went out on a first date again! :D
