Not really a rant, but why is it every time something good happens to me or my wife, something bad happens to the other?
I got laid off, my wife got a new job. Perfect example.
Well today, my wife and I bought a new car- a 2006 Focus ZX4 S... SWEET! I finally managed to talk my wife into it. It's mainly for her, for her commute to her job. AND the dealership is trying to get me hooked up in a 2005-6 ZX3 S 5-spd AS EARLY AS TOMORROW! EVEN SWEETER.
But then my wife calls her co-worker / friend to brag. And then the bad shit starts rolling in.
I guess my wife has been having some trouble with a few things at work, a few of the data-entry things that are confusing. I guess her boss(es) are getting pissed and considered firing her. Had we known this, we wouldn't have just gone out and bought her a new car!
So tomorrow she's going to talk to her bosses and explain the problem, and hope they will understand and try to get her back on track.
I guess it'll all work out in the end. I'm still gonna go tomorrow and see about my ZX3... because I know in the end it will all work out in the end anyway.
She's already got a couple jobs she's inquiring about, so maybe she'll end up with something better anyway. It's all aprt of God's plan. Like when I got laid off and ended up working for the place I'm at now. And this place is much more laid back, which is really cool, and I get $4 more an hour, which is fucking phenominal!
It's the yin & yang of the world man - sorry for the possible dissapointment -but hang in there...nothing has happened yet. Maybe you should hold off on trying to buy another Focus that will need financing right now...they may cut you a better deal if you wait? Never know.
If she needs more help with training I would certainly hope that ppl. would be willing to give her a chance!

Well things are looking up. It's not as bad as she had thought, they just want her to be a little more careful and make fewer mistakes. They said they don't care about if she can do the difficult stuff yet, but she made a few mistakes on the easy stuff, and that concerned them. However, she's not in jeopardy unless she keeps screwing up.
Yes, the world is Yin and Yang. You just have to trust in God to get you through!
