Haven't been here in awhile and thought I'd better frop in.
Lifes thrown one of its little rocks at me and pretty much knocked me on my ass once again. no, im not down and out, but have had to do some serious soul searching and still am.
As some remember I'm seeing someone (sharon) from cali and have been for about a year and a half. Love each other to death altho were apart (for a few month yet anyways)well, a few things have happened and were pretty easy to deal with
that is until her son text me last tuesday. He had to take her to the emergency room because she could no longer walk on her left foot. seems she somehow got a severe infection, and after some test it was found she has diabetes. thursday they lanced her foot to drain it and ended up having to amputate a couple toes. but friday was a really bad day for me, her son told me they were trying some things but were gonna amputate half her foot. thank god whatever they tried worked because the amputation didnt happen. shes still there and will be for awhile yet.Hopefully things will turn around and she'll get out soon. bad thing is, medical bills are piling up and fast due to switching jobs and not yet having insurance.
I've been wanting to go out there, but she says no, not until she's better, then their coming here for a bit. this time thing and her laying in the hospital is killing me.
lots of other things have happened since last summer, but thats all taken care of with no problems. Hopefully this is the last bump in the road for us.
