Ok so what is everyone's pet peeves while driving in your own car or anyone else's?

In mine:

I hate smokers, dirty shoes, eating in my car, drinks r torable (just no sloshy drinks or drippy ones), people who keep telling me "Oh watch out, slow down and blah blah", slamming car doors and hood, putting drinks on the car roof, yes it leaves rings people!! Smelly foid in my car, u must put it in the trunk, and well guess that is it, yup I am really anal.

In others:

Looking at me & not the road while talking, messing w/the radio too much, slow turning or driving, putting on make up, cell phone's, tailgatting, slaming on brakes way too much (mom), and I can't remember anything else.

How about u guys???:dude:

In my car:  The only who usually rides in mine is my wife. She gets cold if it goes under 85 F. I hardly ever use the ac, but I almost always have the sunroof & windows open. 1st thing she does, when she gets in is close the roof & her window.

In others: Again, the only person I usually ride with is my wife. She's an excellent driver, but she brakes a little late for my taste. She doesn't tailgate, just brakes late. I try to look away.

Love you Flaz hun!

Me = Cell phones (yep...can't stand the sporadic speed and slow burst, weaving all over the road, not seeing that the damn red light has changed to green oh, on and on and on)
-  If you're not passing, get the hell out of the &*) Damned passing lane!  Oh, this is by far my biggest and most frustrating of all issues on the road!  I can't stand it and I swear that drivers from Mass are told to NEVER use the right lane!  NH, not any better...get the hint, if you're going UNDER the speed limit...you're in the left lane and there is a butt load of traffic trapped behind you...move the hell over!
-  Putting your makeup on while driving...I couldn't believe what I witnessed in Boston, on 93 South one morning...A woman, staring into her rear view, putting on lipstick, using both hands to do so (why? I have no earthly clue) and I have no idea what she was steering with!
-  Smokers, sorry to those here that do this, but I can't stand it...keep your butts in your car.  You are a smoker, you chose to smoke and I have a moon-roof! Yes, I've had ashes and a lit butt fly into my car due to a smoker throwing out their butt when finished contaminating their lungs.  It was in my 4Runner, not my Focus.  BTW - I am a former smoker and any smokers worst nightmare.
-  OOH! to go along with the Massachusetts drivers - Turn signals are NOT an option!

End of rant

People that see me coming at about 45mph, and also see that there is nobody behind me at all, then pull out in front of me anyway and go nice and slow. They just cant wait for me to go by, then pull out into the empty road. Gotta pull out in front of me, make me hammer my brakes into tha floorboards, then go only about 25mph, and just drive me into a fit of rage. I want to kill them. End their life. Outta here. Gone. Dead. No longer living. Exited. Erased. CANCELLED.

This is a sport here in Ohio. If you're going around 50 or less, & they have 2-3 car lengths...you KNOW they're gonna pull out. Then they're gonna drive 200 feet at 25 mph & turn left without a signal. It's so bad that I sometimes think the maneuver must be taught in driver's ed.  :X

Unfortunatly in Boston traffic if you leave even 1/2 car length in front of you somone will cut you off and than after passing 1 car will cut them off in hopes of getting through traffic that is impossible to get through.... It really sucks in Boston. And that mentality is on even after you pass into NH and get 1/2 way to Manchester NH.... You need a vacation after driving the 1.5 hours in traffic from Boston to Manchester NH.

Another pev... Getting through traffic and everything thins out and speeds get back to 80 than out of nowhere you need to lay on thebreaks cause there is a new cluster.

Another.... The rubberneckers. Its a danm accident on the other side of the highway, theres no need to slow from 80mph... If its on this side thats a differant story. Or its just a cop pulling over a speeder, no need toslow from 80mph...
I remember driving north through Providence RI and almost smacking the back of an older Honda with the rental van cause they were looting at the Ranger on its side in the southbound lane and they kept looking so they were looking back at the accident and I layed on the horn.... The cops looked and the honda just started creaping forward a bit faster.... I almost help them go faster.... I had been on the road about 4 hours be that point....

OK, reading fx3's post reminded me of another one.

You're on the freeway, speed limit is 65 mph, and traffic is doing exactly 65. There's a cop in the median with radar, & as soon as somebody spots him, everybody slows to 50 mph. WHY???

This one I understand. Perhaps it's different here. The reason is that the cop is going to randomly pull over someone and give them a tag for something.

Here they have to have a valid reason to pull you over...they cannot just randomly pull someone over (Unless it is a DUI checkpoint) and start to pick stuff apart.  There has to be a reason, speed, fautly light (headlamp, tail lamp etc), then they can pull your car apart.  Pulling someone over for no reason but to THEN inspect for violations borders on illegal search and sezier if you ask me.  I'd be pissed!
Oh my Mr. V, you hit that nail right on the head - it's a policeman, and he's doing his job.  If you're going 65 in a 65 then don't slam on your breaks for crying out loud...you'll THEN cause an accident.

It's supposed to be the same way here. Cop is supposed to have a reason. They can come up with a reason very easily. "Subject was wearing a baseball cap backwards therefore reasonable to assume firearms or dope in the car." " Noticed a reflection on the vehicle's windshield therefore pulled this criminal over because forward visibility was obscured and therefore unsafe. Convicted for a rock chip...." "DWA" ( driving while asian).
