I wasn't really impressed. It was the S121. From what I experienced, it was pretty much a ZX3 with the Saleen looks. It was slower than I thought it supposed to be. I figured since it was a Saleen, it would go like a raped ape. NOPE. It's an '05 and they still want $20k for it. I think I'll pass and try to find an SVT. Anyone else had the same experience?

I have not had the chance to test drive one. I've only had the pleasure of seeing a small handful in my lifetime (6+yrs) of knowing the focus itself.
TBH - I'd shoot for the SVT or a 2.3 PZEV if you're looking for that power. SVT tends to run more expensive and still only has the 2.0 engine. Call me partial and biased, but i've been so impressed w/ my highly restrictive 2.3 PZEV engine i can't wait to start ripping things off and bolting her up to add quick and inexpensive HP.
My next purchase will be a CAI and i expect noticable improvement just to liven her up a bit - then i'll move onto exhaust etc. I got mine for a steal back in 2004 w/ only 5k miles on it i paid less than $10k

Yep the saleen is basicly just an appearance package although there are a couple that have giggle juice in them.
I Test drove a new ST back on 05 and wasn't too impressed. It felt a lot like my 00 Zetec Sedan I was driving at the time. But after driving Chelly's car I got a new apreciation for the 2.3L
I hate to send you away from the Focus but if your looking for new go check out a MazdaSpeed 3.
