Unfortunately at this time. We are unable to do custom members titles. :(

But we can change the name for all members From Member to? :?

So what are your suggestions?

Post em up!

I think you should not allow members to change them.  Then the admins can make up pet names and assign them to the members, and theres nothing they can do about it.  :D

I like the idea of member titles. I dont think we should be able to change them ourselves, could get out of hand.

I think it should be like before. Maybe make your title change every 500 Posts.

Would this work?:

0-25          Neutral

26-100      1st Gear

101-500    2nd Gear

501-1000  3rd Gear

1001-1500 4th Gear

1501-2000 5th Gear

2001-3000 6th Gear

3001-5000 Overdrive

5001+         tEAM fOCUS aDDicT

I like the looks of those, but of course its up to you!

:):)

;) I like this idea for those who have earned a pet name.

As for Generic titles - I think the gear thing is cute.

I would like to see some pet names, I know you can have pet names on a different forum, but I also like the gear by post thing...when and if that functionality becomes available, as for a general name to replace Member ([butthead]huh huh he said, member[/butthead]) how about Active Participant in the daily ongoings of the coolest site in the world?...too long? hmm...how about TFNE rules!!!...wait, that's not everyone...hmmm....how about TF Conspirateur.

I think what Rick is trying to say is that we cannot, at this time, have different names for members.  They ALL have to be ONE name regardless of post count.

I gave some one name for all options.:) I was just leaving the opportunity if it should ever arise to have variable names.

Its too bad that we cant have our own pet names! I'm sure I have plenty of them floating around here! I'd end up being the "resident hack" or something like that! As to my opinion on the subject at hand, we should all get the title addict, cause face it guys and gals, we're ADDICTED!:P

Bama, keep it up you little brat!

Unfortunately, we cannot do the Title "bracket" like we had on the old board. We can come up with one name to take the place of "Member", and that is it at this point. Maybe in the future they will offer a way to do it like we had it before, by post count.
