He's around.  I talk to him via PM occasionally.  I think he's just been busy lately.

yeah I talked with him Wednesday on AIM, he's on Vacation for this week and next I think, so he's been back and forth, I just did a logo for his business on wednesday, so I imagine (if I know him) that he's been working on his website for his business.  But he is alive. :)

Hey Johnny.  Yeah, Im alive and kicking.  Im going to have to go back to work just to take a break.  I got your email Johnny and have replied back.   I am sorry for not being around more but Im trying to take advantage of the time off and get SyntheticShield in top gear as best I can.

Im working on some advertising for SyntheticShield, as RPIJG mentioned, he did a logo for me that Im hoping to get made into a vinyl sticky for the car, and of course im trying to get a website built so I can put the business on line.

Ive been trying to come by on a regular basis to post and stay involved but its kinda hard to do when I cant see the newest posts since my last visit like you could do on the old boards (no offense Rick).  I guess I just got spoiled by being able to click on a link on the old boards and right there in front of me was all the posts made since I last visited.  When I click on recent here on this board there are still a ton of posts at the top of the list that are in some cases weeks old.  But I am trying to stay involved as much as possible, just got several other things going on.

At any rate, Im still alive.  I have gotten everyone's messages and I believe replied to them all.  If you have sent a message to me, either PM or email and I havent replied, please send it again and I will take care of that.

Hey Daniel,

I was at a local fair last weekend and there was a guy there that had an AMSoil stand setup.  He looked to be doing pretty good.  Have you ever thought about trying to setup at local fairs, car shows, etc with maybe just a little stand, a catalog, order forms, and maybe a plug for your mobile lube service?  I think it could bring some good business for you on the weekends and what not.  Just a thought...same goes for Chelly and Rick too.

Funny you should mention that.  I will be working a booth at the Fair this year in the last week of September and first week of October.  I may even be putting my Focus on display there since I have the dual remote by-pass unit installed, but that isnt written in stone yet.  I'll be working the booth with a few other dealers but there is usually so many people and so much business from that Im sure there will be plenty for all of us.

Dan and I have actually been working on getting a portable display/scheme set-up together.
Just right now, I'm still in the no money/capital zone, so it's going slowly.  I really would love to get to at least one fair/show and have a booth, but I may not be able to until Spring.

Dan's been really working hard on the website and it's been approved.  Dan has it in his sig - I'm looking for some ideas for button links for my sig (If anyone is interested in submitting any, feel free).

I'd really love to do the by-pass system and now with the automatic pre-charger system.  I like that idea a lot!  Then show my car - which actually is still in decent shape. lol!

Good to hear you're doin ok Daniel - keep on posting!

No, no storms have swept me away, though I would LOVE to be in Florida right now.  Holy cow I would LOVE to be there and get some shots from the hurricane.

Chelly all I can say is keep moving forward cause it has a snowball effect.  It takes a lot of work and time to get that thing built up and rolling, but it will eventually come to a point to where it will roll on its own and all you have to do is sit back and just make sure it doesnt run away.

I am working on getting a pre-charger, though it may have to wait until I get the fair out of the way, I doubt I will be able to do it before then.  Ive got some irons in the fire trying to get the word out there about the business.  I tell you though, a little advertising on the car goes a long way.  Just with the Amsoil stickers I have on the car have generated quite a bit of business.  I just made a sale to a guy last week that hunted me down.  He wanted some oil for his boat and had seen me driving around.  He said he just drove around the neighborhood until he found my car.  So the business is out there, people want the product, you just got to let then know you have it and sell it.

But, yes, Im doing okay.  Just been busy, plus I was out of it for a couple of days due to some bug I got, but thank God thats all gone.  Other than that Ive just been busy with a few things.

I do want to say thank you to everyone for their concern.  Its nice to belong to a community of people that keep an eye out for each other.
