Hey guys, last weekend at 10am I had 2 put my baby Nala aka Nali 2 sleep. He was 9 yrs. old, he had liver failure and it was time 4 him 2 go. Or else he would have sufferred.

Still kinda sad, he was my first newborn that was born in the house and he has always been here. I get his ashes back Friday, in a custom wooden box.
Im sorry Carmen. I feel your pain. I had my pups put down in April.... was hard to do and extremly sad, but you know you have to do whats best for them. Sebastian (pups there) now sites up on the entertainment center, the middle of my apt. and keeps me company. At first its hard having the box there, is a reminder but in the long run you did the right thing there.... its almost comforting to have him around now

Thank u guys, I now feel like what if? Like, I know in my heart he wanted 2 go, it's like he told me, but then I feel on my part, I wasn't ready. It all happened so fast, it was a nigthmare 2 me and I was waiting 2 wake up. But now I dunno, I just want his ashes back. They called me today and they will engrave on the box in a plaque Nali and they r adding a 4x6 picture frame on it. So I can put in his picture.

I am sorry Carmen - My Rajah had to be put down on 3/6/04 due to Liver Cancer finally causing him a less than quality of life.
I still hurt terribly and just talking about it or thinking about him being gone brings me to tears because he was so much to me through all things over the past 10 years.
Those of us who have been close to an animal from birth can read them. They tell us. There is no mistaking it and I knew from watching and "listening" to what Rajah was telling me that I had to let him go. I was bordering on hysterical when he closed his eyes.
We know, those of us who've lost a pet.
You'll get over the grief, but never forget the beautiful times.
I have Rajah in his cedar box at home with me. A small dedication area with some of his personal things.
