Finally I got some money on the way!!

After my Long tube headers get here I was thinking about Brakes/Rotors

I was thinking about getting  E B C ROTORS - SPORT GROOVED / SPOT DRILLED

and they come with brake pads ( I mainly want them for show)

Have you heard anything bad about these? also do I need to drain the brake fluid to change the rotors?

Hey welcome back to the new board. No need to bleed the brakes. Haven't heard anything bad about the rotors. I'm sure others will chime in soon!

Suggestion regarding bleeding the brakes - Make sure the fluid doesn't overflow when you compress the pistons back into the calipers. Just need to keep an eye on the fluid level in the master cylinder.

Also unless you're just gonna use your ride for shows I don't recommend cross drilled rotors. They have been known to crack - Slotted rotors are the way to go.

dont need to bleed the brakes.

My opinion of EBC stuff is its a waste of money. I had EBC pads and rotors and then switched back to the generic stuff. Didnt notice any difference in braking ability. Straight show.

I expected that they wouldnt help in braking at all. Rotors  only help if you car has a good amount of HP and is being driven hard. I just want them for show. It has been a while since I did anything for "show" on my car since the shorty anntena
