for wires check this site out...under Magnecor wires.
http://www.ctamotorsports.com/
you can also get them from here
http://www.modernperformance.com/ford/zx2.htm
they list them for the escort but it'll still work it's also an spi engine

On a side note I know you didn't ask but you can use any coil pack meant for a zetec and it'll work the same way in the spi with those magnecor wires. Just a small mounting issues. You need to add some kind of spacer for clearance issues. Or get the pieces that they mount to in the zetecs and use that. But to go that way you have to extend some wiring. Either way you have to make it sort of a custom job but it's simple enough to do.

for the plugs I've never used anything other then the autolite platinums
you can pick those up at any parts store. They also make NGK plugs you can get. They cost more tho I believe. I don't know if they are any better for the spi but I've seen them make a slight difference in terms of how rough the car is idling in hondas.

When looking for this info for you I was sure that the injectors were interchangeable between cars...the rails just need to be modified but now I can't find out for sure so I can't say

I dont know of any aftermarket SPI injectors. What most people do is to adapt the rail to fit zetec injectors. this involves using some washers as spacers and spicing in the zetec harnesses. Then you can use any of the zetec injectors available. Keep in mind that zetec injectors are already double what the SPI ones are. so just using those is an upgrade

SPI = 8lbs

ZETEC = 16lbs

The ZX2 is a zetec. the other escorts are CVHs. basically the predecessor to the sPI. many parts are the same though. log on to escort racing development team. If there are injectors, they would know about them.

Normal temp fot the SPI is under 180*. basically, whatever your thermostat is, thats the upper end of nominal. fluidyne makes a replacement radiator. But I dont think you need one. Just check your fan relay and resistor pack from time to time to make sure that both fans are coming on. I just replaced my thermostat, relay, and switch the other day. preventative maintenance.

oil coolers are always a good thing. Anything that can lower the oil temp is a good thing really. Same with tranny coolers. You can get them from summitracing just do a search for B&M coolers. You need to do some measuring to get the size you'll need. Most people run them in series with the stock cooler so just get under your car and see what dimensions will fit. you can also do a search on these forums and on the old ones. I know this has been talked about but I can't remember exactly where. Look for posts by SyntheticShield. he's been working on adding in extra coolers to his set up and can be a big help in this area. Or just shoot him a pm, he'll help you out.

If you need an oil cooler, get one from a late 90's windstar. will bolt up easily.
