Just incase.. if you have an autozone neer you they check odbII codes for free..

Good Attitude~ yes Autozone will tell you the codes for free. Getting your own tool is also a good way to do it if you wanna spend the moeny, I don't think they cost too much..

even better idea, i get the coil and wires off my old engine (if they still have it) and have em put em on there, saves me money and gives me more time to get upgrades. oh yeah

A plug and 4 screws holds the coil on... and the rest is srtaight forward (just the plug wires)... Get it fixed today, if you do still have your old motor..
