Yes the SPI is unloved but there are parts out there. Focus Central has some parts.

If your looking fo a header good luck. Some have used older Escot GT headers with some modification.

For a header, you can go to escortfocus.com. they have a full race header. the only problem is that there is no connector piece. you can get that made at most machinist shops. they also sell pulleys, cam gear, camshafts, and a lot more for the SPI. i bought from them, and they were very good.

The header is no longer available. I guess it was some sort of test header to see if it would sell. I am so happy I have one.

SVT > Zetec > SPI.

Enough said.

Zetec + $1000/mods > SVT

Not even in the wild ones.

Zetec + 75 shot nitrous = ~200hp
SVT Zetec = 170hp

200 > 170

duratec i just a better engine design.  intake is located in a better place for colder air, engine block is lighter and had more output...  should i go on?

i'm at 170 with way less than $1000 in engine mods.

they should have made the SVT from the duratec platform. if special vehicle team did what they'd done to the ztec to the duratec they'd have a 250 horse baseline with room to spare

Meh... I still like the Zetec better. The Duratec seems foreign to me :p
