same intake I have

You just put it right after the filter. It's a TIGHT fit the first time but it'll go on there. After that first time tho it's stretch and go on and off without a problem.

the metal thing with holes is used to secure the filter in place so it doesn't shake all over while your driving. When you remove the stock intake you can just attach one side of the metal piece to the maf assembly and the other end to the bolt facing away from the driver's side. (it's hard to explain, when you have the stock one off you'll see it) Or anywhere really just as long as the filter is supported. The metal piece is flexible enough to bend into any shape you need it to be just with some pliers

The hose you can hook up just the same way you see mine. I just attached it to the end of the rubber hose piece from the stock setup with some mounting tape. I expected it to fall off but hasn't for 2 years now.

and yes you use the stock maf assembly

Yea it took two of use to get it on the first time. I was actually really worried about that because I knew at some point I would have to take it off to clean it. But it came off just fine and want back on with out a problem at all. Also my intake's filter didn't come pre-oiled, did you remember to do that? You're going to need a k&n filter cleaning kit. I completely forgot to mention it before, sorry. It comes with a cleaning solution and oil. Your going to want to pick one up as soon as possible and get that filter oiled. They sell them at most parts stores for about $10-$15 or so depending on where you go.

Other then that I'm glad you got it installed. It's one of the easier mods to do yourself. And in my opinion the most noticeable for the money.

yea what Rick said. Be sure to follow the instructions and don't over do it. You don't want that stuff getting sucked into your engine. You can do it with out removing the filter just give it time to dry before going anywhere.
