ok when i was putting my cai in i broke a small plastic piece that holds this hose onto the purge valve. i epoxyed it back into place but if its cheap id rather replace it. any suggestions? i'll put pics up sometime maybe if i get a camera soon

that's what I was wondering too txfo. I think that's what he means. If so, you can just get a small air filter from napa or auto zone and use that instead.

umm the purge valve is this thingy that is next to the pwr steering reservior that has vacuum hoses connected to it. im not sure what it does tho. anyone know? its waaay in back there, a cylinder shaped thingy

I think its my fault. the full technical name is evaporator canister purge valve. Ive always called it just evap canister.
