Now, I don't know much about the SVT "oil Squirters" Are you saying the SVT has a system the "pre lubricates"?

Amsoil has a new system that is a bolt on for that.  Just FYI

amsoil has piston oil squirters?

FX3, the SVT has little squirters at the base of the block IIRC. I think I would just have to tap the block for them and use the svt oil pump.

chelly, piston oil squirters shoot the bottoms of the pistons with oil instead of just relying on the crank to distribute it.

Have a peek - I may be a bit off here, but I think this has some of the same principals?

http://www.amsoil.com/articlespr/pr_2004_amk.htm

It is a "Pre-Oiler"

well, the ford racing pump for the mustang dosent look anything like the zetec pump so I doubt it will work. It will be alot easier when I have the pump sitting in front of me. I might be able to find something that will work. I think Tom uses a different pump in his built motors, maybe he can clue me in.

Did you check the 2.3L pumps????? Might work and they've been out for a while in the Rangers.

I know Melling has good HV oil pumps for V8's see if they have 4 bngr ones.

Anyone every tried to get to the Focus oil pump?  I have.  It aint pretty.

Well unless you have the motor already pulled.  If you are going to do it in the car, you better look closely at what you are going to have to do.

You know, considering how much of a PITA it is to get at the filter to do a change...I can only imagine Daniel. ;)

I think the oil squirters require a fair amount of custom work.

Tom uses them on his built blocks, if you ask him he can tell you for sure.
