Im looking at my new engine and Im not seeing a place for the idler pulley. It comes with the crank pulley, water pump pulley, and the power steering pump pulley. The alternator has not been installed yet and the tensioner is not included. isnt there an idler pulley on the top? I'll post a pic in a minute but can anyone tell me where the fuck the idler goes? also, where the hell does the EGR plug into the exhaust manifold? I cant find a hole for it anywhere!

back in a flash with a pic.

well in the case of the EGR, I think that plugs into the cat if I'm not mistaken, cause there ain't nothing for it to plug into on the manifold, and nothing post cat.  As for the other thing, I'd say the rest of the car, but that might just be obvious.  I'm not sure what the Idler Pulley is...I can go try and take a snap of my engine from that angle to help you out if you want.

You don't have to worry about the EGR, Tom's kit doesn't use it.

You can make or buy an EGR delete plate that covers the tube comming off the intake manifold.  As for the EGR bung in the back of the intake manifold you will use that for the BOV vaccum line.

I'll check about the idler pulley.

oh, another question. there is a sensor by the oil filter and a sensor in the back of the block. I assume the one by the filter is the pressure sensor. WTF is the other one?
