i see where TXFO is coming from.

With it being just a $4 part, why not replace it? If its not pinched or clogged, fine, so be it, at least you KNOW its not the problem.

Where is the PCV located? No one mentioned this.

She has a AEM long tube intake if the PCV is the mesh inside the stock airbox where the stock hose goes to.

The first thing I asked her was about the hole on the back of the valve cover being blocked off. The hose is on the valve cover and goes down to just after the filter. So the hose is hooked up and no kinks in it. Also the oil cap was not broken(no broken tabs and it went right back on nice and snug.

And off toppic the only reason I am pissed with TXFO is that he got a band new motor for $200. And he won't share it.;bigcry

ok, I told people at least twice in this thread where the PCV valve is! ITs located on the top right side of the oil seperator. the oil seperator is attatched to the front of the block, behind the catalytic convertor.

the breather is the hose on the valve cover. that SHOULD NOT be blocked. It either has to go to the intake or should be free vented thru a filter.

I can get you a motor for 1000 shipped. best I can do

No, no, no! That's only for the SPI. On the Zetec, it's between the overdrive pully and the straight cut pinion gears.

Don't believe me?? Look for yourselves.;wtf
