I recently bought a set of SCO ground wires http://store.dragracing.com/product.asp?prodid=1217&catid=89 (same thing as the hyper ground system) after many people recommended it to me over on Focusfanatics. So once they arrived I asked around about what points they should be attatched to. These are some of the answers I got:
[Battery to chassis, chassis to block, battery to clock, battery to alternator]
[right side chassis, left side chassis, throttle body, transmission housing, engine at engine lift hook]
[Alternator to chassis or battery negative, ignition to chassis or battery negative, valve cover to battery negative or chassis, transmission to chassis or battery negative]
I have NO IDEA who is right or wrong ^^^, but I was wondering if anyone here knows where I should attach them to best utilize the larger wires. I have five wires to work with, lengths 3', 2'7'', 2'1'', 1'9'', 1' 5''.
If you know, be really specific about the ground points because I don't have much experience with this type of mod.
I have upgraded the following:
negatives:
Battery to chassis (behind driver headlight, on the fender)
Battery to block (under EGR valve)
Block to chassis (passenger strut tower to block (took out small factory on at this point))
Positives:
Altenator to battery
All with high strand 4 gauge wire. Custom lenghts.

Yup I have this...very happy with it. Ya know what is another idea, I know may not find a great calling but...there are ground wires that come from the headlights...an upgrade to those would be nice...so I stop poppin' expensive bulbs left and right.
