Yeah, take it to Ford!

I tried replacing it myself.  After about two hours with ZERO progress I gave up and called Ford.  They took it off and put the new one on for less than 100 in labor.

the car is in like a million pieces right now. taking it to ford wouldn't be an option. maybe if they could send somebody over.............

tried prying it out and having someone jam a screwdriver thru the diff and tap it out simultaniously. still no luck. I think the major hangup is on teh mtx-75, there are these stupid flanges that prevent you from getting a good place to pry from.

There's probably a ford "special" tool to take it off.

yeah, the part number to remove the high pressure powersteering line is: hey fuck you stupid asses.

check out the cool damage in the blown motor.

that H looking thing is the rod from #2.

the most beautiful sight in the world:

should have the new motor hung tomorrow. if it werent for having to go and buy some misc. tool every 30 minutes, we'd be done already.

oh yeah, the guys that did Derrick's clutch charged him for a centerforce and put in a motorcraft. they also reinstalled a stripped trans bolt that cost us like 2.5 hours of labor. so :fu
