FX3, the heater is coated and I think I remember reading the JBA header warranty was voided if it were wrapped in anyway.
Microtonal, I did have to drop the CAT partially. I had to remove the lower support bracket and then of course unbolt it from the stock header. It drops just enough so that you can remove the old header and install the new one. I do recommend you have a torque wrench so you can put everything back to spec. I had read a lot of cases where people had problems with the bolts backing out or leaks developing where bolts werent tightened down to spec.
I tightened down mine with a torque wrench and checked them about a week later and all of them were still tight and I havent messed with it since. And yes, from the CAT to the tail pipe is stock, though Im trying to work on that by getting a cat back exhaust.
Sublime, how does a wideband O2 Sensor help out? Wouldnt you need an ECU capable of reading it, or is that already built in?
