After our lil "dusting" as I heard it on the radio to be yesterday, we ended up with 4-5 inches, even more in spots. I noticed the other day when i was cleaning under the hood of my car that my AEM CAI was a lil too wobbly for my liking... I didn't install it, so I dont really know what to look for. Anyways.. this morning when I left for work, my lot had already been plowed once and there was about 13" of slow all around my car ( go figure I parked on the corner.. jeesh). When I backed out, my intake got caught in all the snow and i heard it clunk around under the car... that made me a lil nervous. I got out and checked and all seemed to be ok.. but i thought the car ran a lil different.. so it needs to be looked at.
I gave Ray at myfordperformance a call as soon as I could and got me the last weather shield in stock. Grantid, I could prob make one, but i do not have the time nor the energy to attempt this. He shipped it out to me and ill have it tomorrow
After this morning, and past incidents other people have encountered with rain and what not, I thought it was a good investment to make.. we'll see how well it is when I get it

It's not about what you have under the hood, it's about who you have behind the wheel...
Actually I have seen snow but it's been awhile. (lived in Buffalo for a few months and I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time in the North Atlantic dodging iceburgs when I was in the service)
Now that I'm in FL - Nothing but sand - the frequent hurricane and lots of mesquitos. (not to mention the snowbirds that winter down here)
