:cautionhere it is.  :P  I've yet to see one either. I think there might be something inline that goes from the inner fender to the neg battery post then maybe to the block where the starter is, but I forget. My engine is out so I can't tell ya.  I'll be grounding everything when it goes back in. block to head to body to battery to everything. Never a bad idea imo

well, the motor wont crank and I think its the engine ground. everything works but no crank. I seem to remember taking off a terminal from the bell housing that I think now was a ground. If I cant find it agian, Im just going to jumper batt- to engine and see what happens. Hopefully that fixes it.

now that i think about it, there may be a part in the ground wire that goes to one of the bolts that holds the starter in... if that's the only part that grounds the starter it won't start. Check there, u can see it from the top underneath where the egr tube goes into the intake mani.

It seems some people have a wire to a starter bolt (mounting bolt not solenoid) and other dont. This one didnt so I ran some 14AWG wire from the neg terminal to the lift point and another from the other lift point to the chasis. Fired right up like nothing had ever happened. :D

thank god that engine swap is over. It was fun and all but we ran into way too many problems and it took 2 days longer than expected.
