Ok, if you own a MAC short ram intake, here's your chance to get a FREE clear acrylic tube for it.
I have three 12" tubes, I really should have cut them to 12.5", but 12" will work for this little experiment. I'm looking for feedback on how the tubes fit, hold up to engine bay temperature, ease of cleaning, and most importantly, how much $$ would you be willing to pay for the tube.
So I need 3 testers. I have 1 guy here locally and as you can see his engine bay isn't exactly the cleanest around... Being in NY, it's a good test for the nasty winter weather treatment. I'm also looking for testers in warmer/hotter climates, say southern California, Florida, Texas so I can really stress test the temp. rating.
Also, I would like to get a couple different header setups, 1 race header setup, 1 aftermarket short header, and 1 stock header setup.
Serious Testers Only Please. Since I am going to post this to several boards, and I'm sure there will be more willing testers than I have test tubes, I would ask that you Email me and convince me that you would be a good person for testing. Do you have a race header, short header, stock header... I would be looking for at least weekly feedback on how it's holding up, what kind of temperatures you are driving in, and if possible take some engine bay temp. readings.
The acrylic is temperature rated to 210 degrees, cleans with warm mild soapy water.
It's the Bling Bling for sure and is step one toward a new intake design using a clear acrylic box
