Has anyone ever heard or seen an EGR simulator for the Focus. I know they are available for Mustangs and other vehicles, but I dont think I ever seen one for the Focus.
Or does anyone know how to make one for the Focus?

Precisely. Just like the O2 cheaters do for the O2 sensors.

If I remember I'll ask a few people on campus and see what I can find out. In a school that offers more different types of engineering degrees than just about anywhere in the country, someone is bound to know.
The reason is that there is an interesting link between the EGR system and motor oil TBN and viscosity and Id like to do some testing on it and see how it holds up in reality. But Idont want to be throwing CEL's just to do it and Id like the ECU to think that the ECU is there and working without it actually doing so.

I was actually hoping more for just something I could plug into the electrical connector, like the O2 cheaters. It would probably be a drawn out test occuring over several thousands of miles of driving, I dont think I would want to keep pulling a chip in and out of the ECU to do the test. I installed my Diablo Sport Chip and thats about all I want of that, crawling around down there trying to get that thing in and out.
However, uniquezx3, what oil are you running? You might be able to tell me all I need to know, especially if you are using Amsoil. Though the test would work with any oil, I use Amsoil and I kinda wanted to use the same product for the testing.

Awsome, I may hook up with you then on an oil analysis. Are you already doing analysis? Are you changing every 6 mo./7500 miles? If you are already doing analysis, have you kept any of the reports around?
Also, can you give some details on your ride? Year, model, etc. I know its a focus, but the other specifics would be helpful as well as mileage, mods, etc.
Anyway, you could have the information I need already since I have oil analysis alread for several Foci with the EGR system operational, including my own.

2001 zx3 automatic. Always used at least semi synth 5w20 or 5w30, then full synth , then last change was amsoil xl7500 5w20(used stock filter, no flush) ran 7000miles, then i did engine flush last week and using sdf34. Mod are sct superchip(rev limit 7000, disabled egr, 02 sensor(so if no cat light wont come on), agressive shift, also have a low oct program with same specs. I have borla cat back(2.5"), optima battery, FC racer header and flex(using stock last 15k miles), focus firepower coil and wires(also off for last 15k miles), Iceman intake, K&N drop in filter. currently at about 77000 miles, never done a oil anaylsys. (I am a amsoil dealer just FYI). Maintence- have changed plugs once (motorcraft plat), about 5k miles ago did one tank with PI improver, never changed trans or radiator coolant, fuel pump changed, fuel filter changed.

Cool. I tell ya what, before you do you next oil change, get in touch with me if you can, I may send you an oil analysis kit and just have you pull a sample while you drain the oil. It would at least give me as close to a baseline as Im going to get without having to go through some long and drawn out testing on my end and then I can use that for comparison.
I had checked your profile to see what mods you had and noticed you were a dealer, so I thought maybe you had perhaps tried the oil analysis. Honestly, if you're driving hard its the best way hands down to keep tabs on the health of your motor. Not to mention the money it can save you in oil changes.

Hey i'm not sure if this'll help with the EGR simulator that you're looking for. But Steedfocus.com sells somthing call a MIL Eliminator. I'm not sure if it's the same thing. But it's like $29.95 plus a handful of change for shipping. Check them out, you might find somthing you're looking for.
