I was just looking through the How To's, and noticed the how to for making a heat sheild for a ram air intake...it sounded interesting, but I wanted to know if anyone has made one, and what type, if any difference does it make? Second question, how did you actually attach the shield to the car? Thanks for any help!

It's purpose is to try and keep the heat of the engine away from the filter. Cold air = better gains. Will it work? I'm not sure but I wouldn't think it would help put too much. Think of it this way how much heat is it going to block? It's still going to be pretty warm. I have seen a few differnt ways to conect it. But I don't know if it is worth the effort. Just my 2 cents.
