At this point oil is everywhere... looks like its coming out the head more than the block though... not sure.

Anyways... it doesnt matter... its all over with. McFarland got a call this am to tell them that they suck ass and that the car will not be going back there.

Sat was driving the car to Auto Zone to get the codes read and it kept stalling out, was jumpy... NOT running well... brought it in... they dont know how but somehow the mass airflow sensor came detached. Nice one. Well, they fixed it for free and i got the car back Sunday night... with no paper work.

Today was it.... called them and told them to close out the account, give us a copy of the paper work and let them know they car would not be going back. They didnt understand why. Everytime something was done incorrectly the fixed it. We agreed to that but then explained that everytime the car goes in, it comes out with another new problem and it was getting rediculous now. The car itself is safe, but whenever they work on it that saftey is compromised. Dumbass still didnt get it so now, i think its time for another nice little letter to ford, not focused so much on the fact thier cars are crap like last time... this time more that they have idiots working on them.

heehee... im such a bitch :)

Poor Pokes!

But, I will say this...sending that letter will put that dealership on notice.  If they are a Blue Oval Certified dealership they will be looked into for problems.  I speak from experience when I say that a complaint from the customer can come back on the service dept hard.  When I worked for that Chevy dealership in Exeter, one of the other Service Reps got an ear full from the mgr.

Hang in there kido...I'm sorry for so many problems.

unless one of the blanking plugs came out (1 on the head by the coil) then I'd say you have a blown head gasket. its leaking oil from one of the galleys. this is a pretty common problem in the dodge 2s and 2.4s, symptoms exactly as you describe.

well pokes i dunno what to tell ya, but my transmission did go ka-pow!! at 92k. Granted this is the first problem ive had with my orange mini mini-van foci, but this is a serious problem that doesnt exactly put me on the happy side. But i am curious as to how that Zetec engine of yours blew up. And just to let everyone know, if youre in the nashua area or just need some help in general with your foci, I am starting at Best Ford on Amherst street as a mechanic in about two weeks, hopefully ill get some inside information whether its new stuff or just more detailed info on common or even rare focus problems, defects, etc.
