A light weight flywheel will cause the rev's to drop quicker.

An aftermarket throttle body and/or a chip might help.

A lighter flywheel will allow the engine to rev more freely. The rev's will rise and drop more quickly.

Yes, flywheels do come in different weight, there are alot of them out there. They usually run about 300-400 bucks, if you are going to do it wait until you need a new clutch and do them at th esame time.

order a chip from Randy (focus sport) and tell him to fix the hanging revs. Its designed into the ECU program. supposedly its a factory fix for an oil in the manifold issue. something like that anyway. Ford put it in the programming as a bandaid for another issue.
