im sure these are all answered here somewhere think i even saw once these are my few ?s on preventative maintance. first off work has got real slowwwwww barely gettin by mean while past my 30000 mile maintance and simply cant afford it now. but i want to keep my car in good condition and motor running. first can u list what work is exactly expected in the 30000, mile check please. then was reading maintance tips and work u should have @12000.pvc valve breather filter canister filter shock asorbors. not sure where breather and canister filter even are. i do have a head on my shoulders and mechanically inclined just have not worked alot on cars. also isent there special places to oil chasis if so where? thank u all very much for ur time in writing back heres to ya:drink

That green text is murder for us old guys who can't see so good. :) I don't remember the details of the 30000 mile service, but if Ford will do it for free go ahead, otherwise just take normal good care of your car. I don't think the chasis has any lube issues you need to worry about. Also, you shouldn't have to do anything with your shocks at such a low mileage. I also don't think either of those filters you mention are a big deal. I've just passed 50K miles on my 2000 and it still runs great with just doing the oil changes and minding the fluids. I had the radiator flushed once by Ford and I'd NEVER have them do that again - really didn't need it and it's had an unfindable little buzz ever since. At 30K you're good to go and should just enjoy driving your car.

30,000 Mile Service
Change engine oil and replace oil filter
Inspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines & hoses, parking brake
Inspect engine cooling system and hoses
Inspect exhaust system and heat shields
Inspect steering linkage, suspension, and if equipped driveshaft and ball joints
Inspect tires for wear and rotate
Replace engine air filter
Replace fuel filter*
Replace cabin air filter, if equipped
Inspect automatic transmission fluid level, if equipped with dipstick
