Thanks myprecious38!

I'll check with them around here. If I can get them to do it for $40 or so I might go that way.

The only remaining concern I have is noise levels. Saw a posting at focaljet (sorry!) about Exhaust Shoot-Out. They installed 11 different cat-back exhaust systems and provide ratings and comments about the different systems.

The MBRP got pretty decent ratings, however a high noise level at 3k RPM, and average driving is at 3k.

Just wondering, any experiences, comments???

As for custom exhausts and places. In Plastow NH there is a garage on Rt 125 called Skips(if coming from Haverhill/495 its just a bit after Sanborns Candies on the Right). I know he does custom work and uses only Bosal Cat back in Hampton with no problems. Guy inspecting it said that Hampton has not more noise ordinance for cars or bikes. Maybe a trip to Hampton for inspection.

The noise level is ear catching with a deep sound.  It's not a high pitch sound even when you hammer it.  For every day driving its not bad either if you like a little attention.  As of noise at 3k RPM, it's not bad at all.  It might be a little louder then the others but there not as free flowing as a MBRP.  I work all hours of the day and night and I havn't had one complaint about the noise level.  If you have your stereo on and your windows rolled down at 3k RPM you will probably not hear it.  I can talk on my ceel phone and hear just fine and the person on the other end can't hear a single note.  beside the MBRP is a one piece design and it's on sale for $199 and the people are very cool.  If you call ask for Eric.
