Hi,

Big problem, My car wont start.

I was installing an auxcillary battery and split charge relay, that went fine until I turned the key. I have a permenent engine check light, I checked all the usual, fuses, relays, connections but to no avail. I dont have an OBD2 reader so is there any other way I can find out what is wrong.

Here in the State's there are autoparts stores who have OBD readers.  I would call some parts stores, if not you might have to go the the dealer.

Did you disconnect anything while installing the battery ? Did you have any sparks or anything?  Is it dead or just clikcing but not starting?
